Where do I download your mobile app?
For iOS, find RU Rewards in the Apple App store. For Android, find RU Rewards in the Google Play store.

How do I register an existing membership card?
- Mobile App: You need to create a new account. Choose either Login with Facebook or Sign up with email. During the create account process you will be prompted to enter your card number.
- Website: Visit our Rewards website https://www.r-u-i.com/rewards.php and choose the "Register Existing Card" button. You'll be prompted to enter the card number found on the back of your card. You'll then be able to fill in the remaining fields.

Can I use the RU Rewards mobile app for my registered membership card?
Yes, after you have downloaded the RU Rewards mobile app, click on "I already have an account" where you'll be prompted for your username and password to login. Your accrued points will auto-populate from your 'card' account directly into the mobile app.

Once you have the mobile app, you'll have no need for the card and you'll never need to know your account number or email address while dining. The mobile app allows for easier accruals and redemptions.

How do I retrieve my username?
- Mobile App: On the login screen click the "Forgot?" link in the password field. You will have the option to request your username to be sent via email by providing your email address or account number.
- Website: Log onto your account https://r-u-i.myguestaccount.com/guest/accountlogin. The only way to find your username without assistance is to click on "Click here to request a new password" which will email you a new temporary password and list your current username. How do I change my password?
Log onto your account https://r-u-i.myguestaccount.com/guest/accountlogin. You'll be prompted for your username and password, and once you've accessed your account click "Edit your profile." Scroll down to bottom of page to find 'Change Password' and when you've filled in those fields, click on 'Update Password' button to save changes.

How do I change my address or my phone number or my email address?
- Mobile App: Choose MY ACCOUNT, click on Settings icon, click on Edit Account. After making edits, choose 'Save'.
- Website: Log onto your account https://r-u-i.myguestaccount.com/guest/accountlogin. You'll be prompted for your username and password, and once you've accessed your account click "Edit your profile." Edit necessary fields and then click on 'Update Profile' button to save changes.

I have been using multiple accounts – how do I merge them?
A service rep will need to perform the account merge. Fill out our contact form or call RU Rewards toll-free weekdays at 877-997-3927.

I accidentally created a new account on the Mobile App and now have multiple accounts. What do I do?
Not a problem.

  1. From within the App –click "My Account"
  2. Click on the "Card Number" bar
  3. Click "Edit" in the top right corner
  4. Click the red circle with the minus symbol in it
  5. Doing so will completely remove the account from the App.
  6. Then login the app with your registered account.

The new "extra" account will be deactivated automatically in 12 months.

I've lost my card and I would prefer to have a replacement.
As a reminder, if your account is registered you can ask your server to look up your account using your email address and you won't need to use the physical card. Or, you can download the RU Rewards mobile app and never have to worry about a card. How do I Check In with the mobile app at the restaurant?
When you open the RU Rewards mobile app, you'll be prompted to 'tap' the button to Check In to the closest RU restaurant location. If you would rather Check In to a different RU location, choose Locations at the bottom of your screen, click on your location of choice and then choose the CHECK IN button. You'll then receive a promo code on your screen that the restaurant server will use for any redemptions/accruals during that visit.

How do I use my loyalty account without a card?
If your account is registered you can ask your server to look up your account using your email address and they won't need to use the physical card. Or, you can download the RU Rewards mobile app and not have to worry about using a card.

I forgot to tell the server that I'm a member. What do I do?
If you paid for your meal using a credit card, that's no problem. Mail your signed receipt along with your name, phone number and loyalty account number to: ATTN: RU REWARDS 1951 NORMAN DR. WAUKEGAN, IL 60085

It can take approximately 2 weeks to credit any owed points to your account after received in the mail. Your account must be registered in order for us to assist you. As a reminder for future visits, if your account is registered you can always ask your server to look up your account using your email address, and they can accrue points while you're dining before closing the check.

How do I redeem my points?
- Mobile App: Open the RU Rewards app on your device. Choose "Reward Yourself."
- Website: Log onto your account https://r-u-i.myguestaccount.com/guest/accountlogin. You'll be prompted for your username and password and once you've accessed your account, click "Redeem Points".

Do my points expire?
As long as you have used your account in the last 12 months your points never expire. Accounts that have not been used in the restaurant in the last 12 months will expire. Activity is defined as a purchase in the restaurant or a classic gift card purchase online.

How do I spend my Dining Credits or Promo Offers in the restaurant?
- Mobile App: Check In at the restaurant and provide your server with the 3-4 digit code. You can view your current available dining credits or available promotions in the My Account tab. Simply tell your server what you would like to redeem.
- If you don't have the Mobile App: Present your membership card OR account number to the server. If your account is registered you can also ask your server to look up your account using your email address, and the server can view your balance and accrue points or redeem any Dining Credits or valid promos during that visit.

I redeemed points for Dining Credits that haven't appeared on my account.
- Mobile App: Dining Credits are instant when you correctly confirm your Rewards Order on the screen, and you'll instantly receive an automated Order Confirmation via email upon placing your order. Sometimes it takes about 10 minutes for the balance to update on your mobile app screen view, the restaurant server will be able to see the Reward Dining Credit shown on your account balance instantly.

Can I manage separate accounts in my RU Rewards app, if I'm dining with a fellow RU member?
Yes, it's an optional feature. In the RU Rewards mobile app, choose 'My Account" and you can add fellow Rewards member accounts to your view – accounts which will stay completely separate from your account. It will prompt for username and password, so this will be a voluntary add-on for those fellow members. After successfully adding account(s), then you'll be able to toggle to view different accounts by choosing "My Account" then by clicking on the "Card Number" field. You can select Check In at the restaurant for each account so that each account will receive their own promo code for redemptions/accruals during that visit. Again, this is totally optional.

How do I sign up for push notifications/promo offers?
When downloading the RU Rewards mobile app, choose ALLOW when it asks you: 'RU Rewards would like to send you notifications'.

How can I get Text/SMS Notifications about promo offers?
Log onto your account https://r-u-i.myguestaccount.com/guest/accountlogin. Go to Edit Account > and check the box to allow SMS. Save your updated settings. You should receive a welcome message from the program.

How can I get emails from my favorite RU restaurant?
- Mobile App: If you didn't already select 'Email Opt In' when joining within the mobile app, then choose MY ACCOUNT, click on Settings icon, click on Edit Account to select 'Email Opt In' and then choose 'Save'.
- Website: Log onto your account https://r-u-i.myguestaccount.com/guest/accountlogin. You'll be prompted for your username and password, and once you've accessed your account click "Edit your profile" and check the box next to Email Opt In.
